We in Gloucester have only had a slight flutter of snow, not enough to cover the ground. That looks beautiful redrhino12, a real Christmas scene

It was definitely good fun, but like the walk to the flag I'm not in too much of a hurry to repeat it :D

Great photo's Paul. I suffer from a fear of heights, and at the moment, just looking at your photo's has sent my tummy into turmoil :(

Found in our garden today (by our cats, but they didn't seem to hurt it!):

Image

Yet another reason I'd rather be in Icmeler 8)

- Rosie, Paul & Sophie (and Cyrus and Sweep who found it).

Sorry, should have said. It was "just" a grass snake (though at 4ft quite a big one) so once we'd definitely identified it we just opened the gate so it could get to wherever it was going (probably the river near us, as despite their name they mainly live and hunt near water, and can even swim well).

In actual fact it looked as if one of the cats had managed to scratch it a little, but fortunately no real harm done (to any of them!).
